Key Responsibilities:

  • Curriculum Delivery: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum, ensuring all students are provided with the opportunity to achieve their full potential.
  • Assessment: Regularly assess student progress, provide constructive feedback, and implement strategies for improvement to support individual learning needs.
  • Classroom Management: Create a positive and structured classroom environment conducive to effective teaching and learning, maintaining high standards of behaviour.
  • Pastoral Care: Act as a mentor and role model, providing emotional and social support to students, promoting their overall well-being and development.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to support the holistic development of students and contribute to the school’s continuous improvement.
  • Professional Development: Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices and stay abreast of educational advancements.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): Must hold QTS and have a strong understanding of the UK National Curriculum.
  • Experience: Previous experience teaching in a primary school setting is highly desirable.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Creativity: Ability to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies to make learning enjoyable and effective.
  • Commitment: A genuine passion for teaching and a commitment to fostering a supportive and dynamic learning environment.
