An exceptional school in Lambeth is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic Primary Classroom Teachers for a September start. The successful candidates will be responsible for creating a positive learning environment, delivering engaging lessons, and supporting the academic and social development of students.

Lambeth offers a mix of residential, commercial, and leisure spaces, with bustling markets, restaurants, and green spaces like Brockwell Park. The area is well-connected by public transport, including the Underground and bus services, making it a dynamic and accessible part of London.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver instructional activities that facilitate active learning.
  • Develop schemes of work and lesson plans in line with curriculum objectives.
  • Assess and record students' progress and provide regular feedback.
  • Manage student behaviour in accordance with school policies.
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Participate in school meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development sessions.

Skills Required:

  • Proven experience as a Primary Classroom Teacher.
  • Strong understanding of the national curriculum and educational standards.
  • Excellent classroom management skills.
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Proficient in using educational technology and resources.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in education or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Relevant teaching experience at the primary level.
