Are you a PGCE or Primary Education student looking for firsthand experience in a school?

Teaching Personnel are currently working alongside Primary schools in the Cardiff and Pontypridd area to recruit those who have the relevant skillset to support the class teacher and cover lessons throughout the day where necessary. The role involves covering pre-planned lessons and supervising children within the class, ensuring all the school’s behaviour management policies are followed.

Main responsibilities:

• Covering pre-planned lessons
• Supporting the class teacher with behaviour management and classroom activities throughout the day
• Ensuring classroom is tidy after each lesson
• Lunchtime duty
• Leading interventions for children who need additional learning support with numeracy and literacy

Vetting Requirements:

• Child only DBS on the update service
• Registration with the Education Workforce Council
• 2x professional references
• Valid UK right to work
• (We can help with the DBS and the Education Workforce Council application)

Teaching Personnel:

• You will be allocated a personal consultant to guide you through the registration process
• £50 bonus for each educator you refer to us (uncapped bonus!)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
