Position: Part-Time Primary School Intervention Teacher 

Days: Flexible, 3 days per week 

Rate of Pay:  £110 - £160 per day (based on experience)

Role Overview:

School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Intervention Teacher to join their team on a part-time basis. This role involves working across all age groups to provide targeted interventions that support and enhance students' learning and development.

Key Responsibilities:

-          Plan and deliver high-quality intervention sessions tailored to the needs of individual students and small groups across various age groups.

-          Work collaboratively with classroom teachers to identify students in need of additional support and develop intervention plans.

-          Monitor and assess students’ progress, providing regular feedback to students, parents, and staff.

-          Utilize a variety of teaching strategies and resources to engage and motivate students.

-          Maintain detailed records of interventions and progress, ensuring data is used to inform future teaching and learning.

-          Participate in staff meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.

-          Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement and achievement.

Requirements:

-          Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.

-          Experience working within a primary school setting.

-          Strong understanding of the primary curriculum and effective intervention strategies.

-          Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

-          Ability to work flexibly and adapt to the needs of different age groups.

-          Both Fully Inducted Teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are encouraged to apply.
