Office Manager – Mainstream Primary School in Orpington
Permanent, Full-Time (Term Time Only)
Salary: £32,831.36 (43 weeks per year, 37.5 hours per week)
Are you an experienced office professional looking for your next challenge in a dynamic and supportive school environment? We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Office Manager to join a mainstream primary school in Orpington.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the efficient operation of the school office, ensuring high standards of administration and communication
- Manage administrative systems, processes, and procedures to support the smooth running of the school
- Provide administrative support to the leadership team
- Liaise with parents, staff, and external agencies, ensuring excellent customer service and confidentiality
Qualifications & Experience:
We would love to hear from you if you have the following:
- NVQ Level 4 or equivalent qualification, or significant experience in a relevant discipline
- Several years of senior-level office experience, ideally within an educational setting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with Bromcom or other Management Information Systems (MIS)
- Proven ability in maintaining and developing administrative systems
- Strong understanding of databases and the ability to produce reports and statistics
- Full knowledge of relevant policies, codes of practice, and legislation
- Experience in working with the general public and excellent interpersonal skills
