A Primary School in Southmead are looking for a PE coach to teach a wide range of ages. The school are dedicated to fostering a love for physical activity and promoting healthy lifestyles among our students. They believe that commitment to physical education is an integral part of their holistic approach to education. We are looking for a passionate and dynamic Primary School PE Coach to join their team!

Role Overview: As a Primary School PE Coach, you will inspire and engage students in various physical activities, fostering teamwork, sportsmanship, and a lifelong appreciation for fitness. You will develop age-appropriate lesson plans, organize games, and encourage students of all skill levels to participate and excel.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging PE lessons for students in Reception, KS1 & KS2.
  • Promote an inclusive environment that encourages participation from all students.
  • Assess students’ progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Organize and coordinate sports events, competitions, and after-school activities.
  • Collaborate with teachers and staff to integrate physical activity into the school culture.
  • Maintain equipment and facilities, ensuring a safe and fun environment for all students.
  • Communicate with parents regarding their children's progress and involvement in physical activities.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualification in Physical Education, Sports Science, or related field.
  • Experience working with children in a school or coaching environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate and inspire students.
  • Knowledge of various sports and physical activities suitable for primary age children.
  • First Aid and CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
