Full Time Year 5 Teaching Assistant

Start: September Start

Title: KS2, Year 5 primary teaching Assistant

Salary: £70-£80 daily- paid on weekly basis

Location: Harrow, West London

An outstanding school in Harrow seeking a new and experienced teaching assistant to join their team from September. Someone who is both Hardworking, Enthusiastic, and put their heart into bettering Childrens Educations and Future. You must be able to work independently thoroughly, as well as working as part of as a group and being able to adapt to a close unit of work. Providing a safe and developmentally appropriate programme to support those within the year 5 class and work closely with the class teacher.

Responsibilities:

- Support with Planning lessons and key tasks for any key children within the class

-Identifying clear teaching objectives and specifying how they will be taught and assessed.

-Setting tasks which challenge pupils and ensure high levels of interest.

-Setting appropriate and demanding expectations.

-Setting clear targets, building on prior attainment.

-supporting class teacher to mark work

Education:

Candidate must hold the following Qualifications:

-GCSE’s A*-C’s English and Maths

Relevant experience working in childcare
