Salary: £80 - £90 Per day

  • Supporting the primary SEN teacher in delivering tailored lessons to students with special educational needs
  • Assisting with the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour management strategies
  • Providing one-to-one support to students with SEN to help them achieve their learning objectives
  • Collaborating with teaching staff and parents to monitor student progress and adjust support as needed
  • Creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students
  • Minimum of GCSEs (or equivalent) in English and Maths
  • Previous experience working with children or individuals with special educational needs
  • Knowledge of different learning styles and strategies to support students with SEN
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

A relevant teaching assistant qualification or willingness to work towards one

Experience working in a school or educational setting with students with special educational needs

  • Understanding of SEN Code of Practise and relevant legislation
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to work effectively within a team
  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or higher
  • Additional training in specific areas of SEN such as autism or dyslexia
  • Working hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday
  • Temporary position with the possibility of extension
  • Classroom-based role with opportunities for outdoor and practical learning activities

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
