Salary: £80 - £90 Per day

Job Duties:

  • Assist in supporting the learning and development of primary school children with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Work closely with classroom teachers to implement Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for SEN students
  • Provide one-to-one support to SEN students in the classroom setting
  • Assist with classroom activities and help create a supportive learning environment
  • Communicate effectively with parents, teachers, and other professionals regarding student progress

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of GCSEs in English and Maths
  • Relevant experience working with children with Special Educational Needs

Education:

  • Level 2 or 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (or equivalent)

Experience:

  • Experience working in a primary school setting
  • Experience working with children with SEN

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Understanding of SEN practises and strategies
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Patience and empathy when working with children with SEN

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (or equivalent)
  • First Aid Certification

Working Conditions:

  • Full-Time hours, temporary position

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
