Job Purpose:
The school is seeking a compassionate and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team, providing individualized support to students with Autism and Severe Learning Difficulties.

Job Description:
As a SEN Teaching Assistant at The School, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of the students. You will work closely with teachers and other professionals to create a personalized learning environment, adapting to the unique needs of each student.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 and group support to students with Autism and Severe Learning Difficulties.
- Develop and implement behavioral support strategies.
- Encourage independence, self-esteem, and social skills.
- Monitor student progress and report to teachers and parents.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and inclusive learning environment.
- Support students with sensory integration, communication, and emotional regulation needs.
- Foster positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.

Requirements:
- Experience working with students with Autism and Severe Learning Difficulties.
- Level 2/3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning (Optional).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.

Desirable:
- Experience working in a primary special school setting.
- Knowledge of sensory integration and behavioral support techniques.
