  • Provide tailored educational support to primary school students with special educational needs (SEN)
  • Create individualised learning plans based on students' needs and abilities
  • Deliver engaging lessons and activities to enhance students' academic and social development
  • Assess students' progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student support

 

  • Specialist knowledge and experience in SEN education
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet diverse learning needs

 

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field

 

  • At least 2 years of experience working with primary school students with SEN

 

  • Understanding of SEN legislation and best practises
  • Strong knowledge of different learning styles and strategies
  • Effective classroom management skills

 

  • Part-Time hours, with flexibility required based on student needs
  • Collaborative work with school staff, parents, and external professionals

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
