Job Description:

As a Full-Time Primary Special Needs Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of children with special needs. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing one-to-one and small group support to students with special educational needs, assisting them with their academic, social, and personal development.
  • Implementing individualised education plans (IEPs) and behavior management strategies, in collaboration with teachers and other professionals.
  • Supporting students with personal care tasks, if required, and ensuring their health and safety at all times.
  • Creating and maintaining a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and respected.
  • Collaborating with colleagues and external agencies to meet the diverse needs of students and promote their overall well-being.
