Job Description:

Are you passionate about education and dedicated to inspiring young minds? An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic KS2 Teacher to join a vibrant and supportive primary school in the Colyton area. We are seeking a committed educator who can create a stimulating learning environment and deliver high-quality teaching to Key Stage 2 students.

Key Responsibilities:

- Plan and deliver engaging lessons that meet the National Curriculum requirements for KS2.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing regular feedback and support.
- Create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages active learning and participation.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies.
- Communicate effectively with parents and caregivers regarding student progress and development.
- Participate in school events, meetings, and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Proven experience teaching KS2 students is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and assessment frameworks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students of diverse abilities and backgrounds.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and school improvement.
- A positive, flexible, and proactive approach to teaching and learning.
