Teaching Personnel pride the work we do on the schools and educators we work with. We have been approached by a school in the Silksworth area regarding a teaching role in Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). The role will be part-time on a temporary basis with potential to be extended throughout the academic year.

Latest Ofsted reports describe teaching at the school as “exciting and enthusiastic” with “early years pupils making an excellent start to learning”. The school is passionate about creating a positive working atmosphere for both staff and pupils and has recently made rapid progress since making changes in leadership.

We are seeking a teacher who:

  • Is an excellent practitioner with high expectations of learning and behaviour
  • Has a good understanding of how young children learn
  • Has a professional and welcoming approach to parents
  • Is an excellent team player and is committed to their own professional development

The role:

  • The rate of pay is £500 - £700 weekly
  • Working hours are full-time between 8:40 - 15:30
  • The school is based in Silksworth with transport links to wider Sunderland, Newcastle, and Gateshead

Relevant Qualifications:

  • QTS / PGCE
  • Enhanced child DBS on the update service (support with an application is offered if not)
  • Safeguarding training (free courses provided by Teaching Personnel if needed)
