Teaching Personnel currently have opportunities for primary teachers to fill positions in Tiverton and the surrounding area. This is open to both experienced and newly qualified teachers. There are good opportunities for the roles to be extended from short term to long term positions. Especially with September recruitment in mind.

The Role:

• Classroom lead, able to think on your feet
• Supporting pupils development whilst keeping them engaged and on task
• Build solid working relationship with teaching assistants where appropriate
• Take on relevant responsibilities and helping with the day to day running of the school
• Effective management of the classroom and challenging behaviour.

The Candidate

• Innovative and engaging teaching style
• Flexible and resilient teacher who is able to embrace new surroundings and situations
• Confident working with students in small groups and on a 1:1 basis
• Solid knowledge and understanding of the relevant curriculum
• Experience working with ages 5-11
• Good communications skills

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
