Primary Teacher, Ormskirk

The Head Teacher and Governors of a primary school in Ormskirk, West Lancashire, would like to appoint a fully-inducted Primary Teacher to take on the role of full Class Teacher in Year 5.

Start Date: 31st October 2022

End Date: 21st July 2023

To be successful in your application, you must have QTS and have successfully completed your NQT/ ECT induction year. Teaching experience in Key Stage 2 is also essential. The Head Teacher is looking for someone who can confidently put in place effective routines and strategies for behaviour management, has a track record of raising attainment and achieving progression and has Subject Co-ordinator experience.

The school is Ofsted graded ‘GOOD’ and is slightly larger than the average-sized primary school for the area. The number of pupils known to be eligible for the pupil premium is in line with the national average.

You will be well supported by an ambitious and effective Head Teacher and an able management team. Pupils are keen to learn, they are willing to engage in all aspects of their learning and work together in a respectful and considerate way. Accordingly, behaviour across the school is described as ‘Good’.
