  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons to primary school students in line with the national curriculum
  • Assess and record students' progress, providing feedback to parents and school management
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and academic growth
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies
  • Participate in staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences and professional development opportunities
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
  • Enhanced DBS check

Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a primary school setting

  • Strong understanding of the national curriculum and educational policies
  • Excellent classroom management skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students
  • Postgraduate qualification in Education
  • Experience working with special educational needs (SEN) students
  • Full-time position with regular school hours
  • Classroom-based teaching with potential for extracurricular involvement
  • Collaborative work environment with support from school leadership and colleagues

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
