Teaching personnel are working with an excellent school in the M15 area to recruit for a part time reception teacher.

This school is proud of its vibrant learning environment and exciting curriculum, placing emphasis on helping children to grow into confident, articulate and talented individuals.

Main responsibilities of the role:

-          Prepare and deliver work in accordance with national curriculum requirements

-          Take account of children’s prior levels of attainment and progress to set future targets

-          To maintain excellent classroom management

-          To identify and work appropriately with vulnerable children and children with different needs

-          Create a stimulating learning environment

-          To mark and return set work including homework within a reasonable timeframe

-          Monitor and set targets for academic progress of children

-          Support the leadership team in establishing a vision and ethos for the future of the school

Person specification:

-          Hold QTS

-          Previous teaching experience

-          Passionate about providing optimum education

-          The ability to be accountable for children’s attainment, progress and outcomes

-          Effective communicator

-          Have high expectations and aspirations for all
