Primary Teachers Needed in Grantham!

We are urgently seeking dedicated and talented teachers for primary schools in the Grantham area, starting in September.

We require teachers to cover a range of temporary positions across Key Stages 1 and 2. These roles will include providing cover for PPA (Planning, Preparation, and Assessment), training, meetings, sickness, and other absences. The work will be flexible and varied, offering you the chance to engage with a range of schools within the Grantham Primary School community and its surrounding areas. Most assignments will be scheduled in advance, according to your availability, although there may be occasional requests for short-notice cover, provided it fits with your schedule.

As a cover teacher, you will be comfortable working across different school settings, including multiple-form entry schools and mixed-year group primary environments. Strong behaviour management skills and a commitment to driving progression and attainment are essential.

Your role will involve:

• Inspiring and motivating children using creative and effective resources.
• Providing a safe and supportive environment to foster their social and communication skills.
• Recording observations and summarising achievements to aid in their development.
• Preparing students for successful transitions into upper Key Stages.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for enhancing children's wellbeing and academic progress, and will be adept at building positive relationships to engage and support pupils effectively.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
