Long Term Supply Teacher needed for rest of academic year (Mixed Year 5/6 Class)

Teaching Personnel is seeking a passionate and fully qualified teacher for a long-term supply position in a small primary school located in the rural village of Templecombe. The role involves teaching a mixed Year 5/6 class, requiring the ability to plan and adapt lessons to suit both year groups and provide an engaging and supportive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver high-quality lessons tailored to both Year 5 and Year 6 pupils.
  • Manage classroom activities and ensure inclusive learning for all abilities.
  • Develop lesson plans that align with the curriculum and meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Create a positive, safe, and stimulating environment that fosters academic progress.

Requirements:

  • Fully qualified teacher status (QTS).
  • Enhanced DBS certificate on the update service, or willingness to apply for one.
  • Experience in teaching Key Stage 2 or mixed-age groups is advantageous.
  • Strong communication and classroom management skills.
  • Ability to plan and deliver lessons to engage mixed-age groups effectively.
