Teaching Personnel is collaborating with a primary provision in the North-West of Bristol, which is dedicated to guiding students onto a positive path with the support of their caring staff. The teaching position available is for the school's ASD class, consisting of 6 students with complex needs, including some who are non-verbal.

This role is open to Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced teachers seeking a change from mainstream settings, where building meaningful relationships with students may be challenging due to larger class sizes. • Be an ECT or fully qualified teacher
  • Be enthusiastic and able to engage children in their learning
  • Be confident in de-escalating challenging behaviour, and adaptable and resilient in difficult environments
  • Have experience working with SEN children, particularly those with complex needs and non-verbal students
  • Full-time, term time only: 8:15 AM – 3:45 PM
  • Class size of 6 pupils, allowing for strong relationship-building with students
  • Plenty of classroom support with 2-3 teaching assistants (TAs)
  • Initially until January, with the possibility of an extension to a direct contract
  • Paid to scale weekly through PAYE (no umbrella companies)
  • On-site parking available

The role is available immediately. If you're ready to take the next step in your career and believe you can be a positive role model for these children, please apply. I look forward to hearing from you!
