Teaching Personnel is excited to offer an opportunity for 2 dedicated primary teachers to join a wonderful school in Castle Cary on a long-term basis. This role is perfect for passionate educators eager to make a positive impact on pupils' educational journey. We are looking for a year 3 and a year 6 teacher to join us and take on the role of class teacher, potentially until the end of the academic year.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons to primary pupils in line with the curriculum.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Monitor and assess student progress, adapting teaching methods as necessary.
  • Collaborate with the school staff and parents to promote and support student development.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Previous experience teaching primary-aged students, preferably in Key Stage 2.
  • Strong classroom management skills and enthusiasm for teaching.
  • Enhanced DBS certificate on the update service, or willingness to apply for one.
