General Requirements:
- Qualifications: PGCE and QTS are essential.
- Experience: Proven experience in a school setting, including placements, to ensure you’re well-prepared to make an impact.
- Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, creativity in lesson planning, and the ability to adapt to different learning environments.
Key Responsibilities of a Primary Teacher:- Delivering Pre-Planned Lessons: Follow lesson plans provided by the absent teacher to ensure that students remain engaged and learning objectives are met.
- Managing Classroom Behavior: Maintain a positive and productive classroom environment, ensuring that students adhere to school rules and expectations.
- Adapting Lessons as Needed: Be flexible and ready to adapt lessons based on the students' understanding and engagement during the day.
- Building Rapport with Students: Quickly establish a connection with students to foster a comfortable learning atmosphere.
- Providing Feedback: Document and communicate student progress and behavior to the regular teacher upon their return, ensuring a smooth transition.
