About the Role:

We are currently seeking skilled Primary School Teachers to work across Key Stage 2 in primary schools in Malton and the surrounding areas. This temporary role will involve covering for PPA, training, meetings, sickness, and other absences. The position offers flexibility and the opportunity to work in a variety of schools within the Malton primary school community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching across KS2, adapting to different schools and year groups.
  • Demonstrate effective behaviour management and support student progression and attainment.
  • Use creative and engaging resources to motivate and inspire students.
  • Provide a safe and secure environment, focusing on students' social and communication development.
  • Record observations and summarise achievements to aid in students' transition into upper Key Stages.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching across KS2 in a primary setting.
  • Strong behaviour management skills and a commitment to fostering student development.
  • Flexibility to work in various schools, including mixed year group settings.
  • Availability to start in September and accommodate short-notice assignments when needed.
