Teaching Assistant Needed in WF3 Area - Full-Time Position

Teaching Personnel is actively seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant school located in the WF3 area. Key Details:

  • Location: WF3 area
  • Start Date: September 2024
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM
  • Salary: £83.85 to £90 per day, depending on experience

Role Description: As a Teaching Assistant, you will support the classroom teacher in delivering educational material and activities. Your role will be crucial in creating a supportive and effective learning environment. Responsibilities include:

  • Assisting the teacher with classroom preparation and activities.
  • Working with small groups or individual students to reinforce learning material.
  • Supporting students with special educational needs (SEN) under the guidance of the teacher.
  • Monitoring and encouraging student progress.
  • Assisting with the management of classroom behavior.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
  • A strong commitment to children’s learning and welfare.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • A relevant teaching assistant qualification is desirable but not mandatory.
