Primary Teaching Assistant:
This charming 2 form Stockport primary school are seeking a patient and proactive Primary Teaching Assistant to join a warm & welcoming team. The ideal candidate will have the passion and drive to build up classroom experience and knowledge, working under experienced teachers.
This Primar Teaching Assistant role is ideal for any future teacher to develop their teaching skills, which is excellent preparation for teacher training courses in 2025.
Primary Teaching Assistant – The Role:
- Work with a year 1 students on a 1:1 basis
- Support academic development
- Contribute to the running of a year 1 classroom
- Work cohesively with an experienced class teacher
- Flexible in supporting different students and subject areas
Primary Teaching Assistant – Qualifications & skills required: - Previous experience working with children
- Level 3 or degree level of education is desirable
- Prior classroom / education experience is desirable
- Excellent communication skills
- Proactive and professional manner
- Passion and resilience to support primary students
