Are you a recent Psychology graduate in the Oldham/Rochdale area looking to make a meaningful impact in education? Teaching Personnel is excited to offer fantastic opportunities for Psychology graduates to join our team starting in September 2024!

As a Psychology graduate with Teaching Personnel, you will:

  • Assist teachers in delivering tailored educational plans and interventions.
  • Use your psychological knowledge to help create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Support students with diverse needs, including those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) challenges.
  • Work one-on-one or in small groups to support students’ academic and emotional development.
  • Collaborate with educational psychologists, teachers, and support staff to promote students' well-being and academic success.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • A degree in Psychology or a related field (e.g. Sociology, Anthropology, etc...)
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • A genuine passion for supporting the educational and emotional needs of children and young people.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
  • Experience working with children or young people is desirable but not essential.
