  • Supporting classroom teachers in delivering lessons and activities
  • Assisting with the planning and preparation of teaching materials
  • Providing one-to-one support for students with learning difficulties
  • Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
  • Assisting with classroom management and behaviour support
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Psychology
  • Experience working with children or young adults
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Bachelor's degree in Psychology

Experience working with children or young adults

  • Understanding of child development and learning theories
  • Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet individual student needs
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Previous experience in a teaching assistant role
  • Additional qualifications in education or child development

This role involves working in a classroom setting within a school environment. The teaching assistant may be required to support students with varying needs and abilities. The work hours are full-time during school hours.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
