Teaching personnel are seeking enthusiastic and experienced SEN Teaching Assistants for various East London SEN schools starting immediately. There are multiple full-time positions offering a rewarding opportunity to work with students who need your expertise and compassion to thrive academically and personally. The school has been graded outstanding in its last Ofsted inspections. Their aim is to provide an excellent education for all their students by working hard to improve students’ attainment and the standards of teaching and learning continually.

This position is for a Psychology graduate who is looking for a Teaching Assistant position. You will need no other additional qualifications other than the Psychology degree; other qualifications are preferred but are not essential. You will be carrying out general Teaching Assistant duties such as helping the Teacher prepare lesson duties and set up the classroom. As well as having these responsibilities you will also be supporting children that require additional support and monitoring their progress.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Proven experience working as a SEN Teaching Assistant in a secondary school setting in London.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of various SEN conditions and effective strategies to support them.
  • Skills: Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion: A genuine passion for working with students with special educational needs and helping them achieve their potential.
