Are you a Psychology graduate looking to gain valuable experience working with children in a primary school setting?

Teaching Personnel is seeking a passionate and dedicated psychology graduate to join a supportive and thriving mainstream primary school in Hyde. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone considering a future career in education, child psychology, or educational support.

  • Position: Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant
  • Support: Working closely with teachers and SEN coordinators to support children with varying needs, including those with special educational needs (SEN) and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) difficulties
  • Experience: Supporting children on a 1:1 basis and in small groups to enhance learning and development
  • Development: Gain hands-on experience in a classroom environment, with opportunities for training and career progression within the education or psychology field
  • A degree in Psychology or a related field
  • Passion for working with children and supporting their academic, social, and emotional development
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Previous experience in a school setting or with children (desirable but not essential)
  • A supportive working environment in a well-regarded primary school
  • Guidance from experienced teachers and SEN staff

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
