About the Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Psychology Teacher to join our team in York. You will play a vital role in shaping students' understanding of the mind and behavior. This is a full-time position, starting as soon as possible, and requires a teacher who is committed to providing high-quality education in a supportive and dynamic learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that cover the GCSE and A-Level psychology curriculum.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback to help them achieve their full potential.
- Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that fosters student engagement and academic achievement.
- Collaborate with colleagues and support staff to ensure the delivery of a well-rounded curriculum.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to ensure a safe and productive learning atmosphere.
- Support the school’s ethos and values, contributing to the development of a positive school community.
- Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and extra-curricular activities as required.

Requirements:
- Fully qualified teacher status (QTS) with a specialization in psychology.
- Strong subject knowledge of psychology, with experience teaching at GCSE and A-Level.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to motivate and inspire students.
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
