Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for qualified English teachers to work in our amazing partner schools within Coventry and surrounding areas.

£100 - £200 Per day ***TEACHING PERSONNEL WILL PAY TO SCALE ON ALL FULLY QUALIFIED TEACHER ROLES***

• BA English Language or Literature
• QTS obtained through relevant training programme
• Previous experience in a similar position
• Excellent track record and strong references from previous schools

• Excellent subject knowledge and awareness of national curriculum for English
• Strong classroom presence and effective behaviour management techniques
• Ability to teach English from KS3 through to KS5
• Create an inclusive and positive learning environment for pupils of all ages and abilities to thrive
• Collaborate effectively with colleagues to enhance the English department
• Confident teaching both English Language and English Literature

The English Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality English lessons to students from Key Stage 3 to Key Stage 5. They will create engaging and inclusive learning activities, assess student progress, and provide constructive feedback. The teacher will also contribute to the overall development of the English department by collaborating with colleagues and participating in departmental meetings and events.

The ideal candidate must hold a BA in English Language or Literature, possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) obtained through a relevant training programme, have previous experience in a similar teaching position, and provide strong references from previous schools.
