An Ofsted-rated GOOD secondary school located in Bristol is seeking to appoint a dynamic and dedicated Teacher of English to join their permanent staff from January 2025. Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and assess engaging lessons that meet the curriculum requirements and cater to the diverse needs of students.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages student participation and engagement.
  • Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching strategies and share best practices.

Requirements:

  • A relevant teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
  • Strong knowledge of the English curriculum and effective teaching methodologies.
  • Demonstrable experience teaching English at secondary level.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
