A highly reputable secondary school and sixth form in Cambridge is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of English to join its permanent staff team from January 2025 (or sooner if available).

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a vibrant, academically ambitious environment with students aged 11-18. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the English department, delivering engaging lessons, and inspiring a love of literature and language.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Proven experience teaching English at KS3, KS4, and ideally KS5
  • Strong subject knowledge and passion for English literature and language
  • A commitment to raising student achievement and personal development
  • Ability to contribute to the wider school community
