An outstanding secondary school in Manchester, known for its rapid improvement and high academic standards, is seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher of Mathematics to join its permanent staff from January 2025. Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons in Mathematics for KS3 and KS4 students.
  • Support and challenge all students to reach their full academic potential.
  • Use data-driven strategies to track progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments and staff to contribute to the school’s high standards of achievement.
  • Participate in wider school activities, including extra-curricular opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
  • A degree in Mathematics or a related field.
  • Proven experience teaching Mathematics at the secondary school level.
  • Strong understanding of the UK national curriculum and current educational best practices.
  • Commitment to fostering a positive learning environment and supporting the academic and personal growth of all students.
  • Ability to inspire and motivate students to achieve excellent results.
  • Strong classroom management skills with a focus on high expectations for behaviour and achievement.
  • Willingness to contribute to the school's broader development initiatives.

Desirable:

  • Experience in teaching A-Level Mathematics.
  • A track record of achieving excellent student outcomes in a fast-paced and high-performing school.
