- Plan, prepare and deliver engaging English lessons to secondary school students - Assess and evaluate students' progress and provide constructive feedback - Create a positive and inclusive learning environment to support students' academic and personal development - Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the English curriculum and share best practises - Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding students' progress and behaviour

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - Degree in English or related field - Experience teaching English at the secondary level

- Bachelor's degree in English or related field - Teaching qualification with QTS

- Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience in a secondary school setting - Experience in planning and delivering engaging lessons to students of varying abilities

- Strong understanding of the national curriculum for English - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills - Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all students - Proficient in classroom management techniques - Passion for education and supporting students' learning and development

- Postgraduate qualification in Education - Specialisation in a specific area of English literature or language

- Work within a secondary school setting in Clapham, Greater London - Full-Time hours, Monday to Friday - Collaborative work environment with supportive colleagues and staff - Opportunities for professional development and growth within the school community

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
