We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate RE teacher at our client school in Durham! Whether you’re an Early Career Teacher or Fully Qualified Teacher, we’d love to hear from you.

Position: RE Teacher

Pay: £30,000 - £46,525 per annum

Contract: Full-Time

Start Date: June 2024

What We're Looking For:

  • QTS or equivalent
  • Excellent knowledge of the national curriculum
  • Strong classroom management skills
  • Child-only DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply for one)
  • Two professional references from recent employment

What You'll Do:

  • Teach RE to students for KS3 and KS4
  • Plan, deliver, and mark lessons for different learning levels.
  • Help students understand and appreciate religious diversity.
  • Engage in a variety of extracurricular activities.
