Smile Education is seeking a Reception Teacher to join a fantastic primary school in Dudley for a long-term maternity cover role. This full-time position will start in January 2025 and run through to January 2026, offering a great opportunity to work with a dedicated and supportive team in the early years foundation stage (EYFS).

Key Responsibilities:- Delivering high-quality teaching and learning to Reception class pupils in line with the EYFS curriculum.
- Planning and preparing engaging lessons that support children’s development in literacy, numeracy, and social skills.
- Fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment to encourage children's creativity and confidence.
- Monitoring and assessing pupil progress, providing feedback to parents and the school leadership team.
- Collaborating with the wider school team, including teaching assistants and support staff, to ensure every child has the opportunity to thrive.
About You:- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
- Proven experience working in the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) is highly desirable.
- A passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- The ability to create a nurturing and stimulating classroom environment.
