Welcoming two-form entry school in Stoke with a "Good" Ofsted rating seek a Reception Teacher to join them from January. Easily accessible by public transport, we are looking to appoint a qualified Primary Teacher starting January 2025. Our school is open to applications from both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs). We pride ourselves on a supportive culture that benefits both students and staff.

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to the individual learning needs of Reception students.
  • Create and maintain a safe, positive, and stimulating learning environment.
  • Embrace and support diversity within the classroom.
  • Foster a respectful and welcoming classroom atmosphere.
  • Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about student progress and behaviour.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the educational experience for Reception students.
  • Maintain open communication with the school leadership team regarding lesson plans, assessments, and student development.
  • Ensure all students understand the core values and expectations of our school community.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS), or PGCE with a strong academic background.
  • Experience teaching in a primary school setting.
  • A relevant bachelor’s degree in education.
  • At least 2-3 years of experience working with Reception-aged children.
  • In-depth knowledge of the early years curriculum, with the ability to plan, deliver, and assess effective lessons.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with children, parents, and staff.
  • A genuine passion for education and a commitment to ongoing professional development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
