Are you passionate about early childhood education and eager to make a difference in young learners' lives? A Primary School in the Bootle area are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support our Reception class.

DBS type: Enhanced Child Workforce 

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support the Class Teacher: Assist in planning and delivering engaging and interactive lessons.
  • Individual Attention: Provide one-on-one support to children, ensuring each child feels valued and understood.
  • Classroom Management: Help maintain a positive and organised classroom environment.
  • Learning Activities: Facilitate creative and educational activities that cater to various learning styles.
  • Encourage Social Skills: Foster a sense of community and teamwork among the children.
  • Passion for Education: A genuine interest in early childhood development.
  • Experience: Previous experience working with young children is preferred.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with the class teacher and other staff members.
  • Positive Attitude: Enthusiastic, patient, and nurturing approach.
  • Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal skills to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Relevant qualifications in early childhood education or a related field are a plus.
  • A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).
