Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver engaging, well-structured lessons that cater to students' varied abilities and learning styles.
• Foster an inclusive learning environment where students actively participate in stimulating discussions, promoting critical thinking and respectful exploration of diverse beliefs and perspectives.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and refine curriculum materials, ensuring alignment with educational standards and school policies.
• Engage in ongoing professional development opportunities to remain abreast of the latest pedagogical approaches and advancements in the field of Religious Education.
• Foster strong partnerships with parents and guardians, establishing effective communication channels to support student learning and development.
• Uphold and exemplify the school's core values, creating a supportive and inclusive environment that fosters the holistic development of all students.

Requirements:

• Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification, complemented by a relevant degree or postgraduate qualification in Religious Studies, Theology, or a related field.
• Demonstrate a proven track record of teaching RE to secondary school students, showcasing comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the subject matter.
• Exhibit an unwavering passion for inspiring young minds, cultivating a genuine love for religious education, and fostering tolerance, respect, and understanding.
• Possess excellent classroom management skills, effectively creating a safe and conducive learning environment for all students.
• Showcase exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating effective collaboration with students, colleagues, and parents or guardians.
• Embrace a growth mindset and exhibit a commitment to lifelong learning and professional development.
