We are currently seeking a passionate and dedicated Religious Education (RE) Teacher to join our team and contribute to the spiritual and moral development of our students.

Job Description: As an RE Teacher, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and thought-provoking lessons that encourage students to explore and understand various religious beliefs, practices, and ethical issues. You will play a key role in fostering a respectful and inclusive environment where students can develop their critical thinking and empathy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality RE lessons in line with the national curriculum.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports student learning and development.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and share best practices.
  • Participate in school events, parent meetings, and professional development opportunities.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A degree in Religious Education, Theology, or a related field.
  • Strong subject knowledge and a passion for teaching RE.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to inspire and engage students of all abilities.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
