Position: Religious Education (RE) Studies Teacher
Location: Preston, Lancashire
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
Contract: Full-time, Temporary

The Role:

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Religious Education (RE) Studies Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality RE education to students across Key Stages 3 and 4, with a focus on inspiring critical thinking and moral understanding.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging RE lessons that cater to diverse learning styles.
  • Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  • Contribute to the development of the RE curriculum.
  • Participate in departmental meetings and school-wide activities.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
  • A degree in Religious Education, Theology, or a related field.
  • Experience teaching RE at secondary level (Key Stages 3 & 4).
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • A commitment to promoting diversity and understanding.
