Room Leader Position Available - Birkenhead (CH41)

Are you a passionate and experienced childcare professional looking for your next challenge? We are seeking a Room Leader to join the team at a reputable nursery in Birkenhead.

Role: Room Leader
Location: Birkenhead
Salary: Competitive, based on experience
Contract: Full-time, permanent

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of nursery practitioners in your designated room.
  • Ensure the highest standards of care and education for children aged 0-5 years.
  • Plan and implement engaging activities that support children's learning and development.
  • Work closely with parents, carers, and the nursery management team.
  • Maintain a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment.
  • Monitor and assess children’s progress in line with the EYFS framework.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 or above in Early Years Education (or equivalent).
  • Proven experience working in a nursery setting.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • A thorough understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies.
  • Paediatric First Aid certification (preferred but not essential).
  • A positive, enthusiastic, and caring approach.
