Our fantastic partner school is seeking a reliable and dedicated School Caretaker for a permanent position in Kingston upon Thames. The successful candidate will be responsible for the maintenance, security, and cleanliness of the school premises.

Responsibilities:

• Perform general maintenance and minor repairs
• Ensure the security of the school buildings and grounds
• Conduct regular health and safety checks
• Maintain cleanliness of the school, including classrooms, restrooms, and common areas
• Manage waste disposal and recycling
• Oversee heating, lighting, and alarm systems
• Liaise with external contractors and suppliers
• Support school events and activities by setting up and dismantling equipment as needed
• Perform other related duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role preferred
• Basic maintenance and repair skills
• Strong organisational and time-management skills -
• Good communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team -
• Enhanced DBS check required
