A highly regarded Ofsted rated GOOD school in Bicester, Oxfordshire, is seeking an experienced and dedicated School Site Manager to join their team on a permanent basis starting from September or sooner. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and reliable individual to play a key role in the maintenance and management of the school's facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all students, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:
*Oversee the daily operations and maintenance of the school site, including buildings, grounds, and equipment.
*Ensure the school premises are safe, clean, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
*Manage and coordinate routine and emergency repairs, liaising with external contractors when necessary.
*Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments, implementing corrective measures as needed.
*Supervise and support the school's cleaning and maintenance staff.
*Manage the school’s security systems, including opening and closing the premises and responding to emergency call-outs.
*Oversee site-related budgets and manage resources efficiently.
*Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, safety checks, and compliance documents.
*Support school events and activities by ensuring facilities are appropriately set up and maintained.

Requirements:
*Proven experience in site management, facilities management, or a similar role.
*Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
*Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
*Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
*Good communication skills and the ability to work well with staff, students, and external contractors.
*Basic IT skills, including proficiency in using email and basic software for record-keeping and communication.
*A proactive and flexible approach, with a willingness to respond to emergencies outside of regular working hours.
*Relevant qualifications or certifications in site management or health and safety are desirable but not essential.
*Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to undergo one) is required.
