Teaching Personnel are seeking educators with prior experience as a Support Worker with either children or adults to join their growing SEND team. Inclusion Support Workers do not just support the teacher; they also support one or several specific students in the classroom. This role is a great step on the way to an SEN teacher job and can provide valuable hands-on experience. In this regard, they may be asked to help learners develop their understanding of the subjects being taught by applying dynamic learning activities suited to the needs and abilities of each student.

Roles are responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Ensure all learners feel safe and valued
  • Provide opportunities for outstanding achievement, both academic and in their personal development.
  • Support pupils to better understand their feelings and increase their resilience and self esteem
  • Liaise with a range of professionals to provide exceptional care and education
  • A positive approach to behaviour management and be highly motivated in caring for vulnerable students.

Essential requirements:

  • Relevant degree or experience working with SEMH needs
  • Possess a child enhanced DBS
  • Right to work in the UK

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
