Smile Northwest are looking for an enthusiastic Science graduate to be a Science Academic Mentor near Failsworth. The right candidate will be a specialist and want to help students thrive.

The requirements
- Have graduated from a science related subject
- Experience in a classroom setting
- Confidence to lead a class
- A DBS on the update service (we can help process this if you have not got one already)
The role - Use your specialised knowledge in science to enhance student learning, assisting with scientific concepts and experiments
- Monitor student progress, provide feedback and assess students understanding of material.
- Handle any behavioural issue that arise and ensure that students adhere to school policies and procedures
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure continuity in teaching and learning.
- Motivate and encourage students to engage and achieve their best.
