Are you a Science graduate looking for an exciting opportunity to kickstart your career in education? Teaching Personnel is working with a highly-regarded secondary school in Manchester seeking a talented individual to work as a Science Graduate Teaching Assistant.

Why This Role?

As a Science Graduate TA, you will assist classroom teachers in delivering engaging and practical lessons that bring science to life for students. You’ll be working with pupils of various abilities, supporting their academic progress and helping to inspire a love for science.

Duties Include:

  • Assisting teachers with lesson preparation and delivery of science subjects
  • Working 1:1 and in small groups with students who may need extra support
  • Helping to manage classroom behaviour and create an inclusive learning environment
  • Providing feedback on student progress to teachers and the SENCO

About You:

  • A recent Science graduate (Physics, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field)
  • Passionate about education and working with young people
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage students
  • Experience working with young people (desirable but not essential)
