As a Science Higher Level Teaching Assistant, you will support the science department in delivering high-quality learning experiences. Your duties will include assisting with classroom management, preparing materials for practical experiments, providing one-to-one support to students, and helping to create engaging lesson plans.

- A relevant qualification in Science or Education

- Previous experience working in a school or educational setting

- Excellent communication and organisational skills

A minimum of GCSEs in Science and English (or equivalent)

Experience working with students in a teaching or educational support role

- Strong understanding of the science curriculum

- Ability to work effectively as part of a team

- Proficient in using educational technology

- Higher level qualification in Science or Education

- First Aid certification

You will be based in a school environment, working closely with teachers and students. The role may involve some lifting of equipment and standing for extended periods during practical lessons. Normal working hours are expected, with occasional additional hours for parent evenings or school events.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
